Skate Deck

This skate deck was a project that I did in an art program. The theme for the session was pop art. To this day I still don't really understand what that is. Anyway, I went through what seemed like tons of designs for my deck. The instructors and I finally agreed on the one in the photo. The reason behind the deck is simple. Most of the shoes that women wear today are pretty, pricey, but dangerous.

The Clock

I participated in the IKEA/G-Capp Benefit in 2009. I took a 24x36 sheet of plywood and drilled out the details with a power drill. Afterwards, it was painted with acrylic paint. I made the clock in 1 week. When my parents got to the benefit ( I couldn't go because I was a minor and they were sering alcoholic beverages) they noticed that I was the only student artist, and I was one of the few artists to be in the Live Auction with the celebs. A lawyer ended up buying my clock for $700. Plus, I got a shout out on Frank Ski's radio Show. I guess they liked my clock.

My Shot at Eco Art

I'm a supporter of saving the eco-system and all that jazz. So, I do the best to recycle items in some of my work. As a result, I made a mirror frame out of soda cans and a vase made out of magazine paper. The magazine vase took the longest, but it's my favorite project out of the 2.

Works on Furniture

Here are some paintings that I've done on furniture. The rectangular table is inspired by Winslow Homer, and the other one is inspired by Gustav Klimt.
